Introduction
I edited a small 1 min Facebook ad video when I was a social media manager at an ed-tech startup because the editor was on leave for a week this was the first time I opened a Premiere.
Discovering Premiere and After Effects opened up a world of possibilities for me. I use these tools to express my ideas creatively and effectively.
4-5 months ago I worked on a project (at InfoObjects) for a major adhesive manufacturing company (yes Pidilite)
Challenge
Complex Requirements: The Pidilite technical team had specific needs and expectations for the video, conveying technical information about the solution we are offering in the simplest way possible
Tight Deadline: The project was constrained by a short timeframe (just one weekend), which could have impacted the quality and thoroughness of the video production.
Solution
Efficient Planning: To meet the tight deadline, I implemented a structured approach, including creating a detailed timeline, storyboarding, and scripting.
Creative Problem-Solving: I leveraged my experience and creativity to address the complex requirements. This involved conducting in-depth research on the manufacturing process, developing a compelling narrative, and selecting appropriate visuals that effectively communicated the key messages.
Collaboration and Communication: I fostered open communication with the client and internal team members to ensure that the video aligned with their vision and met their expectations.
Result
Exceeding Expectations: The final video not only met but exceeded the client's expectations.
Positive Client Feedback: The video received praise from leadership, demonstrating its success in meeting their goals and objectives.
Securing the Client: The video played a significant role in securing the client, showcasing the company's capabilities and building trust.
